Fraser Gear Drying Cabinets provide an efficient way to dry milled kiwifruit flower anthers before pollen extraction. Drying the milled flowers completely is an important step in maximising the amount of male pollen that can be extracted for artificial kiwifruit pollination.
Our high quality wooden drying cabinets are available in 18 or 36 tray configurations, allowing pollen suppliers to dry up to 16 kg (18 tray) or 32kg (36 tray) of kiwifruit flower anthers in one go. The cabinets include a 2.5 kW element and a built-in fan that creates efficient air-flow and ideal drying conditions. When set to 30 degrees Celsius a fully loaded cabinet can dry milled kiwifruit flower anthers in 20-24 hours.
